PAYMENT POLICY
If you make a payment in advance via an online payment source, your payment is refundable in full or in part, if the event should get totally or partially cancelled.
No credits are given for no-shows, after payment is received.
You may have someone play in your place, but they must inform us of who they are playing for that day.
COURT TIME POLICY
If for any reason we have more players than courts, those who RSVP after the deadline for the event or show up on the day of the event, are subject to playing less than the full time, with no discount given off of admission.
RAIN POLICY
If you are undecided about whether to come out or not, call me in advance of the meeting time to talk,404-368-9315.
While we are getting together to play tennis, the primary purpose of this event is socializing with a great group of people.
Here is the rain policy for our events:
· I will show up at the regularly scheduled start time to inspect the courts and check out the weather to see if play is possible.
· Cancellation of any play is made by the sole discretion of the organizer of the event.
· At 15 minutes past the top of the first hour will it be determined if both or one of the hours of play will be cancelled. At 15 minutes past the top of the second hour will the determination be made if the second hour of play will happen.
· If it is determined that at least 30 minutes of the second hour can be played on at least two courts, the second hour will be played. In order to maximize play, sets may be limited to 15 minutes, rotating a different four people onto the courts each 15 minutes.
· If BOTH are cancelled, 100% of the admission fee will be refunded. If one hour of play is cancelled, then a 25% refund will be given.
· Any amount of play during an hour constitutes one hour of play.
· In order to receive any credit for any cancelled play, you must be present at the event at the time of the cancellation.
· If any amount of play is cancelled, we will still go to eat as a group.
RULES OF PLAY
- Each match is 20 minutes long
- NO ADD Scoring (agree who receives final serve)
- 5 minute break between matches
- Depending your input the number of players,
we may or may not split into groups
according to skill level (Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner)
ROTATION of Players
- Play with whomever you want to begin play.
- The team that wins the most games in your 20 minute match moves to the next highest court and then splits.
- The team that wins the least games stays on their last court and splits.
TENNIS TIPS
If there are at least a couple of beginners who would like some tips before they mix in with everyone else, we are glad to provide some tennis tips. We also do drills with other beginners to work on the skills that have been taught.
GROUP LESSON FOR BEGINNERS (when applicable)
We will be having a group lesson for beginners with a tennis professional. It is held at the same time and location as the A.C.T.S. event. Payment is ONLY accepted via Paypal on the Evite when you register. |
